Before a single painter picks up a brush, Muses & Music commissions thirty-plus Charleston creatives—florists, builders, costume designers, musicians, and makers—to help bring the residency to life.
Thirteen artists then spend five fully funded days creating without briefs or commercial pressure. One hundred twenty original works enter public view, and Charleston gathers for the public unveiling and gala. Accompanying films document the artists, their process, and the creative community behind the residency.
