Walk Through is a fine art exhibition and live art salon at the Gibbes Museum of Art: 90 works from over 50 artists, including West Fraser, Jonathan Green, Reynier Llanes, Jill Hooper, Dylan Martinez, and Tim Hussey. For one evening, artists paint live, music fills the galleries, and the story of beginning again moves through the museum.

For one evening, artists paint live, music fills the galleries, and the story of beginning again moves through the museum.
The evening opens with champagne, chamber music, and the Live Art Salon, where models become living works of art inside elaborate sets, bringing the exhibition’s themes to life as artists paint them throughout the night.
From there, guests move through a series of thoughtfully curated rooms, each revealing a new chapter through original art, sound, and atmosphere. Live music and unexpected moments fill the museum, making the evening as much a celebration as an exhibition.
Later, we gather again for film and remarks before raising our glasses—and our paddles—to what’s possible. The night ends where the story does: in joy, possibility, and celebration.

Walk Through is an immersive evening of art, atmosphere, and live experience. Guests move through the exhibition, then return to a salon alive throughout the night with live music, working artists, and original work available for acquisition. Dinner, drinks, and dessert will be served throughout the evening through passed bites and curated food stations, but this is not a seated gala or formal dinner. Whether you come to collect, to be moved, or simply to have a beautiful night — this is an evening worth your time.
The event benefits My Sister’s House, a Charleston nonprofit that supports survivors of domestic violence and their children through shelter, advocacy, and therapy services.
Tickets are available for purchase online through the link below. Your ticket will be checked upon arrival at the event.
Walk Through is a full evening experience, not a traditional drop-in exhibition. The evening runs from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to stay for all of it.
